Quality Management System

As our management philosophy is to satisfy 100% the customer's needs, we have been striving for a constant improving of every process of our quality.
DIN and ASTM are the most famous internationally renowned institutes of standardization that set on experience and tests based on a series of standard norms which the products have to meet in order to reach a good market quality.
We know that all our products meet the severe standard norms set from these two institutes, but in order to show you the process that leads to our excellent quality we decided to put them down: the result is the

Quality Description System (QS)

The Quality Description System was also written in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001: every product has to respect all control criteria of the QS before its quality is approved.

EPDA & IAPD

The membership in two of the most important international plastic associations, the EPDA and the IAPD is a further guarantee of the high-quality standards of GEVACRIL ACRYLIC's produts.

Food Contact Directive

Our acrylic semi-finished products in PMMA and PC complies with the appropriate regulation, COMMISSION DIRECTIVE 90/128/EEC, and FDA REGULATION 21 CFR § 177.1010 and are manufactured according to the plastic supplier's specifications. Complying with these regulations they do not transfer their constituents to quantities which could endanger human health or bring about an unacceptable change in the composition of the foodstuffs¹.

Another fundamental issue for our management is to respect the Earth's environment in return for the benefit of economic development.
The United Nations, in its report of 1987 titled "Our Common Future", indicated the principle of "Sustainable Development", the development to satisfy the needs of the present generation without impairing those of our future generations.
We take this message very seriously and have great responsibility for the future. For this reason Gevacril is performing its business activities fulfilling social responsibility:

1. GEVACRIL^® acrylic products are mostly intended for the manufacture of long-life, high-quality articles and less for products meant to be consumed within a short time. Thanks to its resistance to aging and weathering, GEVACRIL^® Acrylics remains fully functional even after many years, and does not need to be replaced at an early stage.
2. Besides, given correct fabrication, GEVACRIL^® Acrylics releases no pollutant substances to the environment.
3. At the end of its product life and, in case, after separation from other materials, GEVACRIL^® Acrylics can be used for chemical or mechanical recycling.
